Jerry Floyd

Jerry Floyd, 70, of Kingsport, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1949, in Bainbridge, GA to the late Malcom and Julie Floyd.Jerry was employed at Frank’s Food Company for many years and was the owner of Floyd’s Auto Sales. He had previously worked at Looney Chevrolet. He enjoyed working on automobiles, fishing and building.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Connie J. Webb, Tena Akers Cowan and Anita F. Hall.Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Scott Floyd and his wife, Julie, Anissa Carter and Anita Gibson; brother, Rick Floyd; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; uncles, Ronald (Jo Lee) Gilliam and Jack Gilliam; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 5, 2020, from 12:00-1:45 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm with Pastor Anthony Gragg officiating.Serving as honorary pallbearers, Jerry M.
