Joe Ray Rasnick, 68, of Kingsport passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the VA Continuing Care Facility. Mr. Rasnick was born in Kingsport on January 12, 1951 to the late Henry and Jane Bowen Rasnick. He was an Army Veteran and worked construction most of his career. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rasnick is preceded in death by one brother, Dewey Rasnick. Surviving are his sisters, Ann Ford (John) and Carol Bortzer; several nieces and nephews; and special little friend, Saylor Patrick. Mr. Rasnick will be inurned at the VA National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Memorial Contributions may be made in Mr. Rasnick’s honor to the VA Continuing Care Facility, Mountain Home, TN. The family would like to thank the staff of the VA Continuing Care Facility for the kindness and compassion exhibited to Mr. Rasnick and the family.
