Joyce Stone

Joyce Stone, 81, of Surgoinsville, TN, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 9, 2018 at her residence after a long illness.She was born in Sheboygan, WI, was a former resident of Colorado, long time resident of California and had lived in Surgoinsville since 2007.Mrs. Stone, attended First Baptist Church, Surgoinsville. She enjoyed singing, painting and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents. Arthur and Evangeline Jensen; brother, Richard Jensen and son in law, Len Johnson.Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Neal Stone; daughter, Karen Johnson; son Earl Stone and wife, Sue; grandson, Zachery Johnson and wife, Chelsea; great grandchildren, Nolan Johnson, Chloe Johnson and Emma Johnson and several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6 pm Friday, August 16, 20198, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jack Morelock officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
