Judy Hughes

Judy Diane Hughes, 61, of Dungannon, VA went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 2, 2019, at her residence. She was born July 3, 1957, in Dante, VA to the late John Ray and Thelma Johnson Kiser.Judy was a kind, giving and loving lady who never met a stranger and always told everyone she loved them. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.Mrs. Hughes attended Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ in Elizabethton, TN.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Deel, Jean Leftwitch and Tinia Satterla; brother, Lanice Kiser; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Dorothy Hughes.Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-six years, Danny Lee Hughes; children, James Hughes (Amanda), Joetta Powers (Kenneth) and Joseph Hughes (Angel); grandchildren, Nicholas, Isabella, Jason, Conner and Kaylee; sister, Gail Kiser; brothers, Johnny Kiser, Terry Kiser and Victor Kiser; sister-in-law, Sharon Hooker (Jeff); brothers-in-law, George James Hughes, Jr. (LaDonna), Richard Wayne Hughes (Stacie), Gregory Allen Hughes and Dennis Scott Hughes; several special nieces, nephews and cousins.A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.The care of Judy Diane Hughes and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
