Lit a candle in memory of June Armstrong
June and I were at Washington School together in the 1940's and knew each other for many years. There were years when our lives went different ways, but we were both excited to meet again in the recovery room at Holston Valley Hospital! Her face was the first one I saw when I regained consciousness, and it made my surgery a happy time! I had several surgeries in the following years and I always asked for June. We were excited to be members of Bethel Presbyterian Church and were in Bible Study together. Her bright smile and loving spirit always made my day a better one. You are and will be in my prayers, Dottie Teter Slaughter
Knew June when my family lived near the Tedder’s on Dale St. She passed many dresses to me that I loved as a teenager. So sorry to learn of her death and give my sympathy with the family for their loss.
I didn't have have a lot of time with June but I grew to care for her and her daughter Brenda very much. June will be missed. My condolences to Brenda and your family will be in my prayers.
We are so sorry to hear about the death of June. As a nurse I have fond memories of June when we worked @ Holston Valley. Joe also has fond memories of when his family & the Tedder family were neighbors on Dale Street. You are in our thoughts & prayers during this time.
