Kermit Pyle, 79, of Johnson City, TN went to be with the Lord Monday, February 14, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.He was born February 9, 1943, in Kingsport, to the late George and Mary Taylor Pyle.Kermit was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who was a Christian gentleman with a servant’s heart.He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, photography and spending quality time with his family. Kermit was a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, Gray, TN.He retired from Eastman Chemical as an Analyst following thirty-five years of service.Kermit was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.In addition to his parents, Kermit was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Ramey.Those left to cherish Kermit’s memory are his loving wife of fifty-five years, Carolyn Conkin Pyle; daughters, Kim Feagins and husband, Glenn, Michelle Doss and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Lindsey Rufenacht and husband, Paul, Hunter Doss, Kaitlin Winters and husband, Chris, Blake Doss, Randall Feagins, Phillip Feagins and Hailey Feagins; great-grandchildren, Lane Winters, Luke Rufenacht, Camden Rufenacht, Wyatt Winters and Carter Doss; sister, Mary Darnell and husband, Junior; brother-in-law, Johnny Conkin; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 12:00 pm Friday, February 18, 2022, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of the Last Supper with Pastor John Herdman officiating.
