Kip Kennedy II

Kip Kennedy II, 76, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, at his residence. He was born April 7, 1942, in Coeburn, VA to the late Kerman K. Kennedy and Elsie Bray Kennedy.Kip was a generous and out-going man who was very active in the Kingsport community. He enjoyed dancing and traveling, having visited all fifty states. Kip was a proud member of the Tennessee National Guard.Mr. Kennedy was the retired owner of Memory Makers, Kingsport and following retirement he stayed busy managing his rental properties in the Kingsport area.Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melissa Bowen (Shaun); grandchildren, Ethan Bowen and Marley Bowen; special cousin, Jackie Britton; girlfriend, Mary Cody.The family will receive friends 5:00-6:00 pm Thursday, November 15, 2018, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor David Foster officiating.Graveside Service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, November 16, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of the Last Supper.
