Larry Ralph Davis

Larry Ralph Davis, passed away peacefully at his home on May 9, 2018, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.He was a wonderful person, full of life, laughter and love (especially food). He was a joy to all who knew him. Larry was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from Eastman Chemical Company.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Zelma Davis and his loving wife of fifty-four years, Donna Jean Butcher Davis; and a son, Martin "Marty" Edward Davis.Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Chris Davis, Scott Davis and wife, Francis; grandchildren, Leslie Floyd and husband, Lanson, Trevor Davis and wife, Victoria, Sammee Davis; great-grandchildren, Emma and Garrett Floyd; sister, Sheila Davis Kilborne; several nieces and nephews also survive.A private Graveside Service will be conducted Friday, June 15, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park.The family will receive friends 3:00-4:00 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Kendrick’s Creek United Methodist Church, 1000 Kendrick’s Creek Road, Kingsport, TN 37663. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary with Rev.
