Larry Marshall Starnes, 46 of Bristol departed this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Marshall was born in Kingsport and was a graduate of Volunteer High School. He had a big heart and was loved by all. Marshall was a loving father, son and friend. He worked in the food service industry all over the Tri-Cities area and in North Carolina. Marshall had many interest but cooking and culinary were his passion. Preceding Marshall in death are his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Ann (Nan) Henriott and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mima Starnes. Left to cherish Marshall’s memory are his sons, Dylan, Jacob and Spencer Starnes; mother, Margaret Laberge (Steve); father, Larry Starnes (Marti); aunt, Beulah Faye Crawford; uncles, Lester Starnes and Gary Starnes (Debbie); and several cousins. There will be no formal service for Marshall at this time. The family would like to thank the staff of Blackbird Bakery for love and concern for Marshall. The care of Larry Marshall Starnes and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
