I am so sorry for your loss. I mowed Les' yard and planted flowers for Les for the past 10 years. Les was a second father to me. I had 4 children and Les took to them very well. He always gave me and my family Christmas gifts. Les took me in at a time of my life where I had nothing and no one and gave me hope. When my mother died he paid for my round trip to Atlanta GA and back. Leslie was so good to me. I wish I had gotten to say good bye Les. But im saying it now. Les picture me knocking on your door and you coming to the door and me saying Les, I love you and I will miss you soo bad. I've cried over this. But you always told me to suck it up and move on.
Thank you for everything you have ever done for me.
Phyllis, Tim and family. We are broken hearted at your loss. We saw Les as such a kind and gentle man, and had such a sweet and caring spirit. Our family had the privilege of being his neighbor for many many years. Throughout those years we saw Les show such neighborly love and kindness to our family. During our elderly mother's last years Les would call and check on her every single day. He would regularly cook extra food and take it to her, among many other countless and selfless gestures.
We are forever indebted to you, our dear friend, for all the love and affection that you so generously showed our family.
We love you very much and we will miss you dearly!!!!
