Tana, Kenny and I were so sorry to hear of Les' passing. We rejoice with him that he is with the Lord but are sad for you and this time of separation from him. You will be in our prayers and we know that the Lord will show Himself to be faithful to you. The Woods' girls were always special to the Nelms' sisters.

Leslie was part of the reason I joined the Navy. He was an inspiration and had a great sense of humor. I’m still in shock.

Leslie, my wonderful cousin. I haven't seen you in a long while but I know how much of a sweet & special person you were. You were dearly loved by your family. My mother Wilda thought the world of you. I take comfort in knowing I will get to see you another day. Love you Leslie. Now, your flying high in the sky watching over your family from those heavenly skies.

My big brother... he always will be. I looked up to him for guidance and love. He always made me feel safe and that he would protect me from everything. I introduced my friend, Tana, to him one spring afternoon. There were instant sparks between them. The day that Lauren was born was the happiest I had ever saw him. He was so proud of their new little Angel. He smiled from ear to ear, before, during, and after she was born. His eyes danced with joy when he spoke of Lauren, as she grew up. He was such a loving person. His heart was huge, especially for his family. Les, I always thought you would be here forever, to look after everyone. Now, I know for sure, that’s exactly what he’s doing. He’s looking after all of us.
I Love You Leslie! Your Baby Blister. (Marlene)
