Linda Brooks

Bluff City, TN – Linda Brooks, 70, of Bluff City, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019, at her residence after a short illness.She was born in Dickenson Co., VA and had lived in Bluff City.Linda retired as a Registered Nurse specializing in geriatric care.She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, driving fast cars, sweet tea and loved spending time with her family.Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Brooks; parents, George and Lucille Childress Tolbert and brother, Kenny Hagy.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Brooks, Sr. and wife, Dawn and Michelle Brooks; grandchildren, Michael Brooks II and Nicholas Schoonmaker; half-sisters, Betty Worley and Janey Hubbard; half-brother, David Hagy; several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan B.
