Louella Easterly

Louella C. Easterly, 81, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was born May 18, 1936 in Kingsport, to the late, Solomon and Fannie Ferguson Hutchins.Louella was a devout Christian and prayer warrior who enjoyed reading her Bible. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and preparing the weekly Sunday afternoon meal. She enjoyed being outdoors working in her flowers and gardening.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Easterly; her infant sister; three sisters and four brothers.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Connie “Lou Lou” Stewart; sons, Stanley Carver (Kathy), Randy Carver (Rhonda), Scott Carver (Treva), Keith Easterly (Crystal); ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:45 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with her grandson, Kevin Stewart officiating.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, February 1, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Gethsemane. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their compassionate care of our mother during her final days.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Louella’s honor be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Johnson City, TN 37601.The care of Louella C.
