Lynda Waterman

Lynda J. “Sam” Waterman, 52, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 12, 1965 in Kingsport, to the late James and Lois Baker Kinsler.Mrs. Waterman’s employment history included A.C.T. and working with children at Colonial Heights Childcare. Lynda was a member of Gravelly Baptist Church. She enjoyed interacting with animals especially, wolves and enjoyed antiquing. Lynda was a loving and caring mother and known to many of her friends as their “second mom.” Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Neal Waterman II; brothers, Gary Kinsler and Larry Kinsler and Robert’s father, Neal Waterman.The family will receive friends 11:00 am - 1:00pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Donnie Brannen officiating.A Graveside and Committal Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section “A”. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those attending the Graveside Service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Lynda’s honor be made to Bay’s Mountain Park, 853 Bays Mountain Park Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.The care of Lynda J. “Sam” Waterman and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
