Lynn Pierce, 89, of Kingsport passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at her home following a lengthy illness.Lynn was born in Arkansas but resided in Kingsport most of her life. She was a member of Crossroads UMC and an avid bridge player. Lynn retired as a loan officer from First Tennessee Bank with over 15 years of service.Preceding her in death are her parents, Cowan Lynn and Annie Bennett Shoemate; and her husband, Thomas Jefferson Pierce, Sr.Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeff Pierce and wife, Betty; grandchildren, Sarah Roberts and husband Joe and Dr. Allison Pierce and husband Chris Archer; great-granddaughters, Abigail and Josie Roberts; sister, Nevagene Reynolds and niece, Jeananne Anderson.Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the Garden of Everlasting Life in Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Sherrel Nave officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org or to Oak Grove Baptist Church, Gray, TN oakgrovebc.org.The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the staff of Suncrest Hospice especially Jackie and Teresa and to Modern Caregivers especially Sheila and Ruby for theThe care of Lynn Pierce and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
