Mabel Anderson Leeper

Mabel Anderson Leeper, 90, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on April 30, 2020, at Orchard View Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.Mabel was known for her green thumb. She grew beautiful roses and tomatoes and she always had blooming violets in her kitchen window. She enjoyed country music and was a faithful fan of The Young & Restless.She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Linda Jane Collins Anderson; husband, John Henry Leeper; son-in-law, Don Maness; grandson, Dustin Moss; three sisters and a brother.Mabel is survived by her daughters, Katherine Crawford, Helen Sue Maness, Jennifer Bentley (Bill), and Reva Leeper; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Anderson, Jr.; sisters, Nell Owens and Reva Owens; and lifelong friends, Brenda Reese and Rick Hartgrove.Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Private Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2020, under the Oak Hill Funeral Home Portico with Pastor Shawn Bentley officiating.
