Marcus Lee Howell

Marcus Lee Howell, 51, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.Marcus was born in Kingsport, TN, on June 17, 1967, to Gary Howell and the late Loretta Carol Howell. He worked in the construction industry, and he was an avid outdoorsman. Marcus particularly enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and he excelled in all sports. Above all, Marcus was a loving husband, father and son.He was also preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Woodward Howell.Those left to cherish his memory are is loving wife of 18 years, Petra Howell; daughters, Heather (Travis) Gardner and Hope Howell; father, Gary Howell; brothers, Sandy Thomason and John Thomason; sister, Kathy Hammonds and Crystal Hawn; special sister-in-law, Claudia McDonald; God Father, Pete Hedberg; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the chapel at 6:00 pm with Pastor Steve Hooper officiating.A Graveside Service will conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, October 29, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of the Last Supper. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
