Margaret Ray Hensley Bragg

Margaret Ray Hensley Bragg, 100, of Kingsport passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Wexford House.She was born January 24, 1922, in Greene County, TN to the late Eli and Mary Broyles Hensley. Margaret graduated from Sullivan High School in 1940, and graduated from E.T.S.U. in 1956, with a BS Degree in Chemistry.Mrs. Bragg retired from Eastman Kodak in 1987, following thirty-nine years of service. She was an Avon representative at Trader’s Village until 2016, and finally retired at the age of 93.In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Glenn Wallace Bragg; sisters, Dale Taylor (Foster) and Hazel Carter (Bill).Those left to cherish Margaret’s memory are her son, Ben Bragg and wife, Renee; grandchildren, Olivia Hutchinson (Lowell) and Elaina Bragg; great-grandson, Greyson Hutchinson; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Oak Hill Funeral Home chapel.An Entombment Service will follow in Mausoleum I at Oak Hill Memorial Park.To share memories and condolences with the family please visit www.oakhillfh.comThe care of Margaret Ray Hensley Bragg and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
