Margaret Pauline Harmon Shelton

Margaret Pauline Harmon Shelton, 84, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on January 14, 1934, to the late Thomas and Recie Hensley Harmon. Margaret was a devoted Christian and she enjoyed reading her Bible. Margaret was a member of State Line Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower garden and caring for her granddaughter. Margaret loved her family with all of her heart and joyously reunites with her loving husband of 56 years, Dewey Shelton whom she had deeply missed.In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by her brother, W. M. Harmon; and sister, Maudie Fox.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Davis; son, Jerry Shelton; granddaughter, Macy Davis; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the Chapel at 7:00 pm with Rev.
