Margaret Stacy

Margaret Stacy, 92, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Monday, October 1, 2018, at her residence. She was born January 9, 1926, in Bluefield, VA to the late Thomas and Darthula Slaughter Neal.Margaret was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who was especially fond of her grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was going to church and serving the Lord. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting.Mrs. Stacy was a member of North Kingsport Church of God.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Malen Stacy; son, Danny Stacy; son-in-law, Gary Ragle; two sisters and four brothers.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Thomas Stacy (Delores), Ronnie Stacy (Kim) and Linda Ragle; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:45 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Oak Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Salley officiating.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the North Kingsport Church of God, 2409 North John B.
