Mark Spears

Mark Allyn Spears, 37, of Duffield, VA passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1981, in Detroit, MI to the late Wayne Diets and Patsy Pierson Spears.Mark was a loving husband and father who enjoyed making others laugh and spending time with his family, especially his three daughters.He was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed fishing.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Spears and his sister, Sandy Thrift.Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Melissa Spears; daughters, Madison Brooke Spears, Annabelle Raven Stanley and Millie Marie Frances Stanley; sister, Kim Spears; mother-in-law, Sandra Squires (Warren); father-in-law, Kyle Spivey; several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.The care of Mark Allyn Spears and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. .Read Obituary
