Marvin Jones

Marvin Jones, 57, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born September 5, 1961, in Kingsport, to the late R.P. and Helen Jones.Marvin was a kind, loving and thoughtful man whose greatest joy in life was spending quality time with his son, Cody. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching NASCAR and was an avid wrestling fan. Marvin was a member of the N.R.A.He retired as a Technician in the Disaster Recovery industry following thirty years of service.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Sword.Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Cody Jones; brothers, Patrick Jones, Mark Jones (Heather) and Bobby Jones; several nieces and nephews also survive.A private Family Gathering of Remembrance will be held at a later date.The care of Marvin Jones and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
