Mary Lou Pope, 86, of Blountville, TN, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 24, 2020.She had lived in Blountville most of her life.Mary attended Andrew’s Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Electrolux.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby Skeens and wife, Jo, Donald Pope and wife, Sue, Connie Barbrey and husband, Bill and Arnold Pope and wife, Dee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm Monday, September 28, 2020, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 5:00 pm with Rev. Ray Bledsoe officiating. A Eulogy will be given by Bobby Skeens.A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those attending the Graveside Service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.orgThe care of Mary Lou Pope and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
