Michael “Mike” Dillow, 56, of Johnson City, formerly of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.He was born and raised in Kingsport and had lived in Johnson City, TN for the past 15 years.Mike graduated from Sullivan North High School and ETSU. He served in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Coast Guard. Mike was a proud U. S. Veteran’s Advocate and an avid music lover whose love was felt by several music festival family. He was a wonderful father, brother, “uncle” and an amazing friend. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Johnson; father, Billy Dillow and aunt Mary Ashworth.Those left to cherish his memory are his loving son, Dustin Dillow; sisters, Tonda Dillow and Missy Frazier; his “brother” Steve Russo; special friend, Rob “Brohead” Sams and several cousins.A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.The care of Michael “Mike” Dillow and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary

I recently had the opportunity to talk with Mike. He shared his faith and spoke of his love for his son, sisters, and mom. I have many fond memories of Mike and your family growing up. It’s so heartbreaking and please know I am praying for you.
