Michael Anthony Hawk, 32, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA where he was born on November 12, 1987.Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sue Pennington, Dave Scott and step-grandfather, Virgil McPherson; paternal grandparents, Sylvia Russell and Howard Hawk Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Bertha Scott of Pennington Gap, VA.Michael is survived by his children, Mathew, Paisley and Kaleb; his parents, Howard Hawk Jr. and Karen Bostic; his beloved Aunt Nickie Lawson, Aunt Jackie Harris and Uncle Dewayne Scott; his “sisters” (cousins), Amy Brown, Jill Pearce and Lexus Patterson; his step-brother, Matthew Stidham; step-mother, Jody Hawk; step-father, Lee Cooper; step-uncle, Ronnie Lawson; step-brothers, Scottie Bostic, Jr. and Paul Morton; step-sisters, Harley Mitchell and Lillian Morton; fiance’, Meghan Minneman and her daughter, Anastassya; many other beloved family members and friends.Michael was a lover of life and made the most of every moment. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, and disc golf. He also enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking for loved ones. Michael also took pleasure in art; he found his peace in drawing and writing.Most of all, he loved making people laugh, it was one of his best qualities. He had the power to make someone laugh in any situation. He could truly brighten up a darkened room. It is in these times that Michael would want his loved ones to live life to the fullest, as he did. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 5:00-6:45 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Rick Vannoy officiating.A Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 11:00 am in the Garden of Meditation at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers, T.J.
