Michael E. Lovelace

Michael “Mike” Lovelace, 63, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 18, 2019, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN after a sudden illness.Mike was a lifelong native of Kingsport and graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1974.He had worked at Eastman Chemical Co. since 1974.Mike enjoyed photography, helping others & classic automobiles. He was an avid runner and was a member of the State of Franklin Track Club. Mike loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons.Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Teresa Begley Lovelace; daughter, Susan Lovelace and son, Steven Lovelace; grandsons, Jordan Lovelace and Joshua Lovelace; parents, Roy and JoAnn Lovelace; sisters, Sharon Stephenson and husband, James and Sheila Barberia; brother, Keith Lovelace; several nieces, nephews and special running mate, Scott Ball.A Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 – 6:45 pm Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Brother Anthony Gragg officiating.A Committal Service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, May 3, 2109, in Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section A with Rev.
