Mildred Austin Ringley Born: July 4, 1930 Died: October 4, 2021 Mildred Austin Ringley passed away peacefully into Jesus’ arms on October 4, 2021. She was 1949 graduate of Shoemaker High School.She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Ringley in 2008; parents, Robert Lee and Mary Pannell Austin; four brothers and three sisters.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and caregiver, Gail Dingus of the home; daughters, Patti Vanzant and husband, “Mama’s boyfriend” Sam Vanzant, Duffield, VA and Leigh Davidson and husband, Brian, Church Hill, TN; granddaughters, Charli France and husband, Brandon and twin great-grandsons, Easton and Sawyer; granddaughter, Dawneen Willis; great- granddaughter, Bellarose Willis, granddaughter, Haleigh Davidson and Sklar Davidson; great-grandson, Creed; grandson, Tanner Davidson; favorite nieces, Patricia Rogers and Sharlene Wilds; her best friend, Janice Fields; “adopted” granddaughter, Chanoa Bledsoe and Tyler Mulkey.As per her wishes there will be no services.Donations can be made to a charity of your choice or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America at www.alzfdn.org.Thank you to all of our friends, neighbors and family who have helped Mildred through this journey.The care of Mildred Austin Ringley and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
