Nancy L. Rasnake

Nancy Lovonia Rasnake, 88, a lifetime resident of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at St. Mark’s Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born December 2, 1929 in Marion, VA to the late, Charles and Ann Haga.Nancy was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She had been a resident of Kiwanis Towers for over twenty years and was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church, Glenwood Campus where she loved attending her Sunday School class.In retirement, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and serving as a volunteer at Indian Path Medical Center.In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Haga.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Scully (Matt) and Debbie Cronshaw (David); grandchildren, Lori Scully, Matthew Scully III and Evan Cronshaw; great-grandchild, Matthew Scully IV; sister, Margaret Cline; brother, Harold Haga (Betty); several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends survive.The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6, 2018, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Phillips officiating.A Graveside and Committal Service will follow at 3:00 pm in Section N at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating.
