Nancy R. Williams, 71, of Church Hill, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 8, 2020, at her residence. She was born July 9, 1948, in Russell County, VA to the late Robert and Virgie Mullins Fields.Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed gardening and painting. She was especially fond of the Christmas season and enjoyed decorating for it.Her greatest joy in life was spending quality time with her family, especially her son, Jr.Nancy retired from Belk following many years of service. Following retirement, she became an accomplished interior designer.She was a member of State Line Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Gillenwater; brother, Robert “Bob” Fields.Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty-four years, D. Ray Williams; son, Jr. Williams and fiance’, Tammy; sister, Lori Strong and husband, Richard; brothers, Jimmy Fields and wife, Diane, Wayne Fields and wife, Barbara; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 5:00-6:45 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.
