Nannie B. Light, 83, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 30, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1936, in Sullivan County, TN to the late Frank and Ella Mae Barker Light.Nannie was a loving, kind, “big hearted” lady who always put others first. She enjoyed cooking, mowing and working in her yard. Her greatest joy in life came from spending quality time with her family.Nannie retired from Eastman Chemical Company following over thirty years of service.She attended Prospect United Methodist Church in Yuma, VA.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Ray; brothers, Frank Light, Jr. and Billy Light.Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Patsy Willis and Reba Glover; several nieces and nephews also survive.A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, January 4, 2020, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Janet Sweet officiating.
