Norman Russell, 71, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 3, 2018, after an apparent heart attack.Mr. Russell was born in Kingsport, lived in Chicago, IL most of his life and returned home to Kingsport in 2007.He was roofer with Rosenow Custom Roofing. He enjoyed fishing and drag racing his 1974 442 Oldsmobile Cutlass named Tigger.He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margie Webb Russell.Surviving are his children, Sean Russell, Lisa Russell and Christopher Russell; several grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother, Jeff Russell.Mr. Russell’s wishes were to be cremated.The care of Norman Russell and his family has been entrusted to Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
