Odie B. Parker, 90, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 21, 2020. Odie was born February 11, 1930, in Obion County, to the late Millard and Maggie Lay Parker. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. After serving in the Army, Odie worked at the International Paper Company in Chicago, IL for 42 years. Above all, he loved to laugh and spend time with his family.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Parker; three sisters; Hazel Lerlene Parker, Jean Parker and Joan Parker Williams; three brothers, Joe, Ray and Leroy Parker; step-son, Gene Wolford; special friend, Eula Hartsock.Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Modene Parker Conder and Jewell Parker Hall (Marshall); adopted son, Stewart Wolford; several nieces and nephews.The Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Section W at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
