Patricia Ann Blevins

Patricia “Pat” Roller Blevins, age 78, of Kingsport went to be with Jesus early Friday morning, January 17, 2020, surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.As a single parent and a hard worker, Pat raised two sons, Christopher Terry and Michael Terry. She was a loving grandma to her only granddaughter, Jenna Terry.In addition to her main role as a mother and grandmother, she dedicated 30 years to the Mead Paper Company where she retired with over 30 years of service.Following her retirement, Pat was able to enjoy the many things she loved in life such as family, friends, music, dancing, gardening, and traveling.Pat has been described by all who knew her as the sweetest, kindest, and most thoughtful person. She loved her family and her granddaughter, Jenna was her pride and joy and the light of her life.Preceding Pat in death are her parents, Claude and Mabel Collins Roller; brother-in-law, Wayne Dezarne.Left to cherish Pat’s memory are her sons, Michael Terry and Christopher Terry; granddaughter, Jenna Terry; sisters, Claudette Dezarne, Kathy Cassidy (Ron); niece, Kim Anderson; nephew, Todd Cassidy (Amanda); great nephews, Brendan and Logan; several other friends and family.A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in Section A at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Those attending are asked to meet graveside at 1:45 pm with Pastor David Salley and Pastor Ron Cassidy officiating.The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the 3rd floor doctors and nurses of Wilcox Hall and to Christine and Kayla, ICU nurses, for the kindness, care and compassion given to Pat and the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s honor to St. Jude’s, www.stjude.org, American Cancer Society www.cancer.org, and to Gravelly Baptist Church, Bus Fund www.gravellybaptist.org.The care of Pat Roller Blevins and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
