Patsy Stevens, 83, of Gate City, VA, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 08, 2019, at Holston Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.She was born in Keokee, VA, was a former resident of Michigan and had lived in Gate City since 1994.Mrs. Stevens retired from General Motors in Michigan. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.Mrs. Stevens enjoyed crafts and sewing.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stevens; parents, Britt and Mary Partin; sisters, Louise Adams and Carmelita Hafemeister and brothers, Charles Partin and Jerry Partin.Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Carolyn Stidham and Sharon Barker and husband, Jim; brother, Roger Partin and wife, Shelly; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 11:45 am Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm in the Chapel with Pastor David Powers and Pastor Tim Price officiating.A Graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, online at www.alz.org/The family would like to extend a special thank you to Patsy’s caregivers, Peggy and Chad Parker for their compassion and care.The care of Patsy Stevens and her family has been entrusted to Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary

We are sorry for your loss ...but we know she was ready and is now in heaven...love to you all.
I’ll never forget visiting her in Michigan. I’d never seen apartments, such big buildings and elevators! We also got to go to Canada for a few hours! I was only 6 or 7 but I’ll always remember our cousin from the “big city”! As I got older I loved her even more. I’ll greatly miss that smile!😘
