I have several memories of Paul. He was always a kind man. My mom and I used to visit with them often and always enjoyed our visits. He used to always ask me to bake him a cake when he knew we were coming. May he rest in peace.
As I sit here thinking about Paul and his life on this earth, the main thing that I would say was that he was a faithful and dedicated son to his Mom and Dad. He took care of them and seen about them until their passing. The other thing was he always told my wife "Brenda" when she brought him a pie or cake that he "would never forget her in a million years" and he never will. Rest in peace dear Paul. Paul was a neighbor of ours for a long time he was a very nice person and never bothered any one sorry to hear of his passing knew his family well pauline Hickman
I remember my Uncle Paul Carver as a kind, gentle, loving soul. He had no bad words for anyone. He always found the best in the worst of people. He was a gifted artist and could make anything from just sticks in the yard. In his younger years he loved craving fighter jets out of wood. He had always wanted to go into the United States Air Force and maybe become a fighter jet pilot, but a bad ear kept him out. Paul had a love for animals, listening to his Blue Grass music, fishing, gardening and he loved the Lord. He was a kind gentle soul who loved life and he dearly loved his family. And in the end he just wanted to go be with all his family. I know that they are all together now and he is rejoicing.
May you Rest In Peace

I had been thinking of Paul recently because I was passing by his home in Orebank where I met him. I’m a physical therapist who treated his dad many years ago. I admired the commitment he showed in providing the loving care for his parents and it left a lasting impression on me. I also still have a “hillbilly flashlight” he gave me. It’s a piece of wood with a box of matches glued to one end and a clothed pin on the other to hold a lit match. I treasure the memories. So sorry for your loss and prayers for the family.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. He was always such a kind man & we are sure he will be missed by his family. Our prayers are with you at this time.
