Pauline Bishop Puckett, beloved Mother, Mamaw and Great Mamaw departed this earthly home early on Sunday morning, September 15, 2019, and met Jesus face to face. She was a faithful member of Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; parents, William and Cora Bishop; her brothers, Audie Hopkins, Carl, and Oscar Bishop and sisters, Madgie Taylor, Louetta Smith, Ora Aesque, and Mae Moore.Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cathy Ragsdale and husband Ed; sons, Ron Puckett and wife Gail, John David Puckett and wife Nancy, Jack Puckett and wife Connie; ten grandchildren, Wendi Stratton and husband David, Matthew Puckett and wife Tobie, Johnny Puckett, Brad Puckett and wife Vicki, Kendra Marshall and husband Justin, and Kerissa Ward, Melissa Horne, Eddie Ragsdale and wife Rhonda, Heather Puckett, Kayla Joyner and husband Brandon; fourteen great grandchildren, Hannah Turner, Taylor Puckett, Sara Puckett, Sydney Stratton, Chloe Ellie Puckett, Carson Puckett, Gabrielle Puckett, Sam Puckett, Blaine Marshall, Ethan Horne, Jackson Horne, Kyleigh Joyner, Logan Joyner; a special nephew Paul Aesque; special neighbors Patty and Gary Hammonds and many other nieces and nephews and friends.The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel or anytime at the home of her son Ron.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. A Graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Everlasting Life where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.The family would like to thank the staff of Wexford House and Amedisys Hospice for the love and care of our precious Mom and Mamaw and the kindness shown to our family.
