Rena Lovelace Pickel, 82, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 2, 2019, after a brief illness.She had lived in Kingsport all her life. Mrs. Pickel was a member of Christ Fellowship Church.She was owner of Belmont Exterminating Company with her husband, Tom.She enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Tom Pickel; parents James W. and Virginia B. Lovelace; sister, Gaynell Lovelace and brothers, Wesley, Clyde, Raymond and Kenneth Lovelace and son in law, Harvey B. Moneyhun.Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Deborah Moneyhun and husband, Eulys Walton; granddaughters, Wendy K. Lester and husband, Mark, Kimberly D. Eller and husband, Eric and Lori M. Moneyhun; great grandchildren, Danielle, Trevor, Collin, Simon; sister, Jean Lovin; brothers, James Lovelace and wife, Ruth and Thomas Lovelace and wife, Linda; several nieces, nephews and cousins.A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the V. A. Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN with Pastor Jonathan Lovelace officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at stjude.orgThe family would like to express a sincere thank you to the nurses on 3rd Floor Wilcox Hall at Holston Valley Hospital.Arrangements will be announced later by Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
