Robert “Robbie” Collins, 57, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully at Indian Path Medical Center on Friday, November 15, 2019. Robbie was born on July 11, 1962, in Sullivan County, TN to the late Garland and Bessie Collins. Robbie was a graduate of Sullivan North High School, and he had worked as an auto parts delivery driver for Advance Auto for the past 11 years. He had also worked at East Lawn in their maintenance department for several years and for the Sullivan County School system for over 20 years. Robbie enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on lawnmowers and riding his four wheeler.Robbie was also preceded in death by his infant twin brother; brother, Junior Collins; and father-in-law, Charles Williams.Those left to cherish Robbie’s memory are his loving wife of 31 years, Rhonda Williams Collins; his two dogs, Tinker and Rowdy; brother, Carl Wayne Collins (Shirley); sister, Sue Derrick (Elijah); mother-in-law, Joy Williams; special sister-in-law, Sue Williams; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 17, 2019, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Junior Bowery officiating.A Graveside Service will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robbie’s memory to a charity of your choice.The care of Robert “Robbie” Collins and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary

Rhonda I’m so sorry to hear about Robbie.....I know he was a big part of your life.....I always thought a lot of him.... he always talked to me whenever I saw him out....& all the good times at the racetrack.....Just keep all those wonderful memories in your heart & know he’ll always be watching over you where ever your at.... Whenever I went to Advance Auto, I always went to the Commercial Department in the back & every time I saw Robbie he was always smiling & very pleasant. Praying for his family
