Robert Lawson

Robert “Bobby” Lawson, 73, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at his residence after a brief illness.He was born in Johnson City to the late Scott and Pearl Lawson.Mr. Lawson sold produce for over 30 years at local flea markets and was involved in the used car business.He enjoyed going to car auctions, but he loved caring for his grandchildren.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Lawson, Charles Lawson, Betty Berry, John Lawson and Earlean Kind. Surviving are his loving wife, Donna Barger Lawson; children Scott Lawson, Matthew Lawson and Samantha Lawson; granddaughters, Olivia Lawson, Cecilia Lawson, Jaylin Lawson, Kamren Lawson and Jennifer Baker and several nieces and nephews.Memorial Services will be held at a later date.The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Tabitha Greer and the nurses of Amedisys Hospice for their compassion and care.Online condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.oakhillfh.comThe care of Robert Lawson and his family has been entrusted to Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
