Robert A. VanAllen

Rev. Robert VanAllen, 74, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Rev. VanAllen was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and he also retired from the Glass Plant after 17 years of service. He was of the Apostolic Faith, and his involvement and work in his church were his life. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy VanAllen; step-parents, Tom and Anne Benenson; sister, Nancy Krug; and brother, Johnny Benenson. Those left to cherish Rev. VanAllen’s memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Linda Sue VanAllen; son, Robert Shane VanAllen; sisters, Jean Hummel and India Martz; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, New Canton. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Brother Luther Russell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, New Canton.
