Rosa Lowe Baker

Rosa Lee Lowe Baker, 80, of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 6, 2022.Rosa was born in Butler, Tennessee on February 7, 1942, to the late Jake and Ruby Lowe. She attended Chestnut Flats Primitive Baptist Church in Scott County, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, JL Lowe and her sister, Jane Lawson. Those left to cherish Rosa’s memory are her husband, Elder Lewis Baker; daughter, Cassandra Kerney; granddaughters, Ariana Kerney and Angelina Kerney; brothers, Charlie Lowe and William Lowe; and several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Chestnut Flats Primitive Baptist Church, 977 Lucy Road, Scott County, Virginia.A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Elder Oscar Irvin and Elder Kevin Cross officiating.The Graveside Service will follow at Booher’s Chapel Cemetery.The care of Rosa Lee Lowe Baker and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
