My family and I are blessed to have been able to spend many happy hours in Scott County, Virginia with Ruth. Minnie Curtis, my beloved grandmother, and Ruth are now together with our Lord Jesus. I am so thankful that Ruth and "Mamaw" taught me to appreciate God's beautiful creation. More importantly, they helped show me how to carry the love of Jesus to others. Their lives are sermons that I cherish. I will endeavor to hand down their godly wisdom to my children.

So sorry to learn about Ruth. I knew her through writing groups (as well as attending FBC). She gave me advice about how to ward off migraines naturally and was such an encouraging person. I hate that we lost touch over the years.
