Sandra "Sam" Elizabeth Kennedy Quinn, 72, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 8, 2019.She was born in St. Paul, VA in 1947. Sandra met and married Thomas Allen Quinn and moved to Kingsport in 1973.She was a 1966 graduate of St. Paul High School and was a member of Fordtown Baptist Church, Kingsport.Sandra enjoyed her flowers, reading, going to church, animals and loved spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Quinn; infant daughter, Betsy Quinn; parents, Lowell and Roberta Kennedy; brother, Greg Kennedy, sister, Barbara Burton and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Marjorie Quinn.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Amy and Mike Ingle, Chad “Doug” and Jacque Quinn, Emily Quinn; grandchildren, Michaela, Kaitlyn and Lexie Ingle, Aiden and Krisnen Quinn; siblings, Belinda Feathers, Freda and Allen Lester, Tommie and Laurie Kennedy, Kathy and Tom Smith, Kay and Ike Burke, Brent and Rita Kennedy, Jean and Jeff Vaughn; several nieces and nephews and fur baby, Addie.The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:45 pm Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Fordtown Baptist Church, 444 Old Fordtown Rd., Kingsport, TN.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Keith Smith officiating.A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at East Tennessee Cemetery.The family would like to extend a special thank you to her church family and Natalie and Ben for their compassion and care.Online condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.oakhillfh.comThe care of Sandra Quinn and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
