Sara Jo Dickey

Sara Jo Dickey, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center with her loving family by her side.Sara was born on August 28, 1932, in Rochester, NY to the late Dr. Joseph and Mrs. Lois Dickey. She had worked as a receptionist for the State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France.Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Michael Dickey and Christopher Dickey; daughter, Jane Hampton (Rick); grandchildren, Erin Vance (Jordan), Matthew Dickey (Brittany), Hannah Hickey (Jordan), Aliesha Stelter; great-grandchildren, Madison Evans, Alyssa Evans, Daniel Evans, Tristan Dickey, Joseph Dickey, Emma Stelter, Aubrey Stelter; sister, Linda Edwards (James); and several nieces and nephews also survive.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019, in Section E of Oak Hill Memorial Park with Mr. Tim Vaughn officiating.
