Sarah Sykes Venable, 43, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 12, 2020. She was born November 11, 1976, in Kingsport.Sarah was a loving, kind hearted, compassionate, sacrificial, hard-working and independent lady who always put others first. She enjoyed watching movies, playing golf and working in her yard.Sarah’s greatest joy in life was her daughter, Sidney.Sarah was employed by Dermatology Associates, Kingsport, for fourteen years. She attended Christ Fellowship Church.Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Sykes; brother, Michael Benjamin Sykes.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sidney Venable; father, Michael Sykes; sister, Suzanne Fenters (Justin); brothers, Baxter Sykes (Charlotte) and Bryce Sykes (Lisa); six nieces and nephews.A private family Graveside Service will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Although I only met Sarah a few times, she was a ray of sunshine in our family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Bobby, I am so sorry. We are praying for you and her family.
Sarah attended church with us for a season when she was young. We were blessed to have her share her talent with the violin during our worship services. She always had a bright smile and sweet spirit. Our hearts and prayers are with her daughter and all her family.
