Dear Oran, Greg and I were shocked and saddened when we were told of Shirleys death today. We are sorry for your loss and we send you and your family our love and deepest sympathy. Knowing we share your grief might help in some small way. We loved Shirley and we too shall miss her. There is a quote that has given us comfort in the past and we would like to share it with you:" God gave me memory that I might close my eyes and see the one I loved and who loved me."We know this is a difficult time for you so be sure to take good care of yourself. Shirley would want you to do that Oran.

Dear Bird and all of Shirley's family,

It was a joy to have known Shirley. She was beautiful in mind, body and spirit. Her strong faith enabled her to accept Parkinson's disease with such grace. You will miss her, but knowing her earthly battle is won and she awaits a reunion with all of you some day will surely help you.

May God bless and comfort you during your loss.

I am so sorry for the family’s loss. I guess I would be considered to be Shirley’s cousin. My mother was Betty Ketron—half-sister to Ona. She and Shirley were quite close when growing up I believe. I always thought Shirley was a beautiful lady. May she Rest In Peace.

To all the family, my heartfelt condolences in your lose. My heart is overflowing right now with memories of Shirley. We were friends that saw each other infrequently, but each time we were together, it was as if we had not been apart for long. She was beautiful, inside and out. I loved her and her precious testimony of how God filled her life. I will always remember her and believe with all my heart, that the minute she got to heaven, she heard "will done, my good and faithful servant". All my love as you walk through this process of re-grouping and remembering. God bless you all. Judy Weatherford
