Shirley Jean Brooks, 71, of Kingsport, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Holston Manor. She was born June 16, 1948, in Kingsport, to the late Clarence and Evelyn Taylor Brickey.Shirley was a committed Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to the Gaither Homecoming Gospel music videos. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.Shirley was a retired caregiver in the Health Care industry.A private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Garden of the Last Supper at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
