Stephen Wallace Reed, 57, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Stephen was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on December 11, 1959 to the late Clarence and Evelyn Clark Reed.He was an avid memorabilia collector, but above all he was a loving, caring brother and best friend. Stephen always put others before himself, and he was always willing to help someone in need.Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Clarence Reed Jr. (Lorene), Guy Kelly Reed, Richard Reed (Debbie), and Terry Reed; sister, Kathy Ducker (Mark); nieces, Melissa Greene (Shane), and Ashley Reed; nephews, Kelly Reed (Ashley), and Shane Reed.The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2017 in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor David M. Peters officiating.The care of Stephen Wallace Reed and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
