Suzie Darlene Fenter Gillenwater, 75, of Kingsport, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at her residence.She was born in Toledo, OH, and she had lived in Kingsport, TN most of her life.Mrs. Gillenwater attended several Apostolic churches in the area, and she was a member of Apostolic Gospel Church, Kingsport, TN.Mrs. Gillenwater enjoyed shopping and taking care of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Billy Junior Gillenwater, Sr.; parents, Buford and Maria Ann Brummitt; brothers, Ron, Bob, Butch and Terry Fenter.Surviving are her children, Betty Morelock, Billy Gillenwater (Donna); grandchildren, Tabitha Russell (Caleb), Tiffany Tritt (Daniel), Hunter Gillenwater (Victoria),Harlee Gillenwater, Logan Gillenwater, Elijah Brady Gillenwater, Chloe Reese Gillenwater, Zoe Ryleigh Gillenwater; great grandchildren, Oaklynn Gillenwater, Ryder Russell, Remy Russell, Warren Russell and Brynlee Gillenwater; siblings, Gene Fenter, Mark Brummitt, Roger Brummitt, Randy Brummitt, Cheryl Gillenwater, Loretta Griffin, Sheila Calopietro, and Jeffrey Brummitt.The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 pm Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm with Brother Greg Street and Brother Jackie Flanary officiating. Mary Ann Williams will be singing.Graveside Service will be private at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
