Trudy Gilley of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 28, 2019.She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Ms. Gilley retired from Eastman Chemical after 30 years of service.She was a Christian had a strong faith in the Lord.Ms. Gilley was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Irene Jones Gilley.Surviving are her loving daughter, Carla Williams and brother, Tony Gilley; nieces, Cynthia Gilley and Vanessa Gilley.She will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Bridge No Kill Animal Rescue, 2061 Hwy 75, Blountville, TN 37617“Mom, I love you to the Moon and back.”The care of Trudy Gilley and her family has been entrusted to Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
I’m so very sorry to learn of Trudy’s passing . She was the best landlady. So loving and caring of my animals. Always asking how they were doing Trudy was one of the kindest people I know. We talked about the LORD every chance we got. I will surely miss her. Rest In Peace dear sweet Trudy.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I have such good memories of us playing together when we were little. Trudy had such a good heart and loved her family so much. I know there was a happy reunion in Heaven. Grandma welcomed one of her precious grandchildren and we are "the handsomest and prettiest and smartest children in the world". Fly high sweet girl.
